Welcome to the 03.31 Aero's Rundown!! The Rundown starts now...

No. 10. The Rundown is back!! It's been forEVer since I've posted a Rundown, but I'm back in full stride now! I'll be able to let you guys know what happening with me and around me! If you don't understand the Rundown, feel free to read some of my older posts...

No. 9: HCR signed into law - Obama finally got the Health Care Reform signed into law after so much time fighting to get it passed!! I know there are some people that don't agree with it. In my opinion, most of the time the people against the actual health-care part are those who have always had healthcare and never had a problem getting it. It's those people who don't want to "share the wealth. That is not exactly always the case, but that's what I've seen personally. If you want to read the bill, I think it would be a great thing for you to do. It'll help us all understand exactly what the law is and how is beneficial for millions of people.

No. 8: The TWIN is on Twitter!!! I know this isn't really news anymore, but I haven't written a Rundown since he joined so I thought it would be appropriate to mention it here (if it wasn't so long ago, it would definitely be higher in the Rundown). If you're on Twitter, follow him -- @PAWnoramic -- and get that truth and hilarity that the rest of the tworld gets daily!

No. 7: I've been talkin major noise to Shontelle on Twitter about MarioKart for the Wii; apparently, she thinks she can beat me or something. We'll see when the time comes, but I'm pretty sure it won't even be a competition -- and if she beats me...well...I'll be devastated... :( *mad scientist laughter*

No. 6: I got a new tv and entertainment center for my oh-so-empty apartment this past weekend!! It's a 27" Samsung HD flat screen tv and I have some amazing speakers that can take the paint off the wall!!! Take a look... :)

No. 5: Speaking of Steph (*wink*), he is featured as the leading man in Shontelle's video for her latest single - "Impossible". He warned us early on to remember that he's just acting and not to believe that he's really as big of a jerk as he appears to be in the video. Love that dude! Check out the video...

No. 4: Baylor beat Duke to advance to the NCAAW Final Four, which means they'll be facing UCONN next!! UCONN has won't 76 consecutive games...*whew*. Forget that, though. I have been talkin major noise to Brittney Griner (through the TV) about my cousin Dee...lol!! Griner is a 6'8" FRESHMAN at Baylor and has been slappin' shots and dunkin' on people all year...*sigh*. I'm UBER crunk about it because I haven't seen her perform live in a couple of years!! And No. 1: Today - Wednesday, March 31, 2010 - is the official launch of my website AllThingsAero and I'm so excited because I'll finally be able to keep people updated with what's going on with me, share my photos, get contact info and so much more!! The site is in its early stages right now, but will eventually be a one-stop shop for all things Aero (hence the name)! Why don't you jump on over there now and check it out?! Aero's Rundown - Behind the Scenes of Little Drummer Boy Sp. Ed. - 12.20.2009

Welcome to the Little Drummer Boy Aero's Rundown!! The Rundown starts now...

There's been a quite a bit of "fuss" goin on about Steph's new song that was recently dropped - the remake of the Little Drummer Boy (listen to it in the last Rundown). Honestly, the song is just amazing! I love the dude's voice!!! There's more great news though...Steph is making a video for it and provided a sneak peak of what's to come in the behind-the-scenes video below. I talked to Steph the day after the video shoot, and he was ecstatic! He said, "whatever you're thinkin about, forget it. This will be unlike anything anybody can think of. The director is taking it even farther than I thought". My only response was, "Wow! If it's even beyond what you were thinking, it has to be absolutely phenomenal!" He was describing one of his favorite scenes to me and telling me how he excited he was about what the world would see in a couple of weeks. Steph has become a great friend to me and I must say, when he says you won't be disappointed, you can believe just that. Take a look...

Aero's Rundown - Steph Jones is a "Little Drummer Boy" Sp. Ed. - 12.03.2009

Welcome to the Little Drummer Boy Special Edition Aero's Rundown!! The Rundown starts now...

If you're following me on Twitter, then you should definitely know of this guy named Steph Jones. Some of my friends didn't understand at first why I was so diligent about supporting his music and his sound, but they know that this is an artist with a SOUL. His music doesn't come from an empty place; it's not about selling records or having the hottest record for right now; it's not about moving into some fictional spotlight and allowing other people to define him. His music is about spreading the message of love and joy to every soul that experiences it. It's less about the right now and more about longevity.

In talking with Steph on several occasions, I've learned one very important thing about him. No matter how you look at it, no matter how you try to portray things, no matter where you come from, where you've been or where you're going, there is one thing that is always true - your soul never lies. Dude is the realest person you could ever meet and to be honest, it's almost saddening that there aren't more real people like him. He's not the superficial guy that needs to change who he is to become what he's not. He's a true genius in his own right and to be honest, I respect that about him more than anything. From the melodic creations to the rhythmic variations to the minute instrumentation in some of his music, it's very easy to say one this is for sure: there's a soul in Steph's music and he put it there intentionally...

On October 12, Steph released his lifetape entitled Gravity to the world, and because he knows that the "soul of the music is being sucked out of earth", he gave it away (not even joking)....it's FREE! Go get it now!! Just to give you a little hint of what you're missing out on, I will just say that if you don't have it yet or if you have it and haven't listened to it yet, you just peel your face right off right now (again....not even joking)! It's movements like these that are inspirational to the world and if we all just put a little into supporting Steph and his movement, we could make such a drastic, positive effect on the world...

NOW....the real reason for this Aero's Rundown!

Steph had previously mentioned that he might do a Christmas mixtape, but being the person that he is, he would never rush it and put out something that was less than the best by his standards so he decided no to do so. However, his loyalty and love for his frands makes him go above and beyond always. He decided that he would remake a Christmas classic - The Little Drummer Boy. Let me just tell you....since I got this track I've been listening to it nonstop. Check it out below...

Now that you've heard the song, just let me have a quick word with the musically minded. Here's what is so addictive about the song. For those of you who really know me well, it can very easily be said that my most real passion in life is MUSIC! Coming from a very musical background on both sides of my family, I've learned that MUSIC is the one thing that tears down barriers. No matter what race, country, or planet you're from, everyone has a bond with music. Rhythm dominates our lives daily even when we're not paying attention. I have spent hours on end every day for the past 20-something years of my life listening to some form of music or observing some rhythm - whether it's the 1.5 second count from yellow to red on a traffic light or the rain dripping off my parents' home in MS. I've gotten to the point now where I can hear every part of this song without hearing the synthesized percussion and orchestral accompaniment at all and Steph's voice is absolutely phenomenal! This list is in no particular order...

1. The rhythm created vocally from beginning to end; the percussion and accompaniment definitely enhances the song, but pay close attention to the little intricacies he creates with his voice.

2. The slight deviation of rhythm in the first verse - "coooome they tooold me" became "cooome they told me-eee" and I'm certain that honestly it's just the genius that is Steph Jones

3. The newly created chorus of the song with a dominating chant of "left, right, left" along with the sweet high vocals chanting the same lines and echoing only to be enhanced by the addicting statement "I am the little drummer boy"

4. The first verse has a little piece of gold at the end of it; do you know what it is? Can you find it? Let's just say that the additional line (5-line instead of 4-line stanza) is a precious little gold nugget planted in the song that doesn't happen anywhere else...

5. Does he really say "ehh-ahh" after the "pa rum pum pum puumm"...if you don't know why that's amazingly hot, you are officially not human!

6. Shall I play for you (echo: you, you, you) on my druumm? <-- 'nuff said

7. As if all the aforementioned things aren't enough, he raps and said himself that he speaking"directly to God" and it just touches my heart...I just...I can't even...*speechless*

8. Those 17 or 18 little "tings" of a triangle at the very end of the song...priceless - not to mention the sleigh bells throughout the song

9. Put all that stuff together with the accompaniment and you have the perfect Steph Jones track!!

Needless to say, I'm in love with this song, and I hope the rest of the world loves it as much as I do. I'm a connoisseur of great music and this has definitely satisfied my hunger, thirst, and complete appetite. All I have left to say is a HUGE thank you to Steph...you're nothing less than amazing bro!

Aero's Rundown - Live to Love - 09.28.2009

Welcome to Aero's Rundown... The Rundown starts now...

As most of you may know, a very tragic event occurred in Roseland, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago) today. I sat in the office today wondering what everyone was upset about and why my best friend said she was crying watching a video. What the heck had happened? What could it be now? The world is in such turmoil that I couldn't even fathom what it might be. Even after all of the horrible things I thought, none compared to what it actually was. A young man was killed today after school. His name was Derrion Albert. He was literally beaten to death! People, what is going on in this world? How did we ever get to this point? YES, he was in an area where bad things may happen more than some other places; TRUE, everyone has to die sometime; YEAH everyone makes mistakes, but does that make this acceptable? I can't even explain the pain I feel for this poor child's family. He's someone's son, cousin, grandchild, etc and he was just literally beaten to death. His grandfather couldn't even stand to watch the video because it was so difficult to see the way they beat his grandson. This is a child! Someone who had a full life ahead of him and he was robbed of that today. So many older people say, "those were the days" or "you better enjoy your youth while you can", but this poor little boy wasn't given that opportunity. He was an honor student full of potential. You see, to some people that may not mean anything, but to me it means a lot. It means that he was in active pursuit of success. He may have had so many dreams that he wanted to fulfill with his education and he was actually working hard to do so. I'm so angry and sad and confused...

Is it really worth it? Is taking someone's life worth showing the world how "hard" you are? Is it really worth causing the infinite amount of pain to Derrion's family? Does it make you feel better to know that you "ain't no punk"? I find it very hard to believe it's worth it. Everyone in this world has lost someone dear to them. Everyone in this world has suffered some pain at some time, but does that make this acceptable? I couldn't even believe the words I was reading about what happened and it's so much harder to even watch the video, but I did. I watched it for two reasons. First of all, I know that seeing what really happened will open my heart even more with prayer for his family; I've had some tough situations in my past, but I can't even imagine what they must be feeling so I wanted to fully allow myself to get as much in the situation as possible. I know that sounds crazy, but it's not about me. It's about sharing emotion and love and passion with those people that lost someone today and being able to say, "Lord, please keep them in Your care" and really understanding what I'm asking God to do. Secondly, this is a story that needs to be taught. WE need to let everyone that we know that this type of violence and evil is NOT acceptable. This is something that can't just blow away with the wind. He's not a celebrity nor is he a world renowned scholar, but he might have been. We will never know. He may have been just an ordinary citizen who made a difference in the world by spreading love - which would have made him extraordinary - like so many people do now.

As I write this and think about the tears streaming down sad faces right now and hearts that are filled with sorrow and pain, it dawns on me that this happens all too often. There are no reasons for violence. Human nature leads us away from God's perfect will, and that's just what it means to be human. It's impossible for anyone on this Earth to be perfect...but this? We have to stop violence. We have to stop hatred. We have to love one another as we're instructed. As humans, we're going to make mistakes, but that mistake can no longer be taking someone's life. We ALL have to stand against violence! Derrion Albert wasn't able to make it to an age that some of us have already passed because someone decided to take his life today. If the lives of those people were filled with love, this wouldn't be the case right now. Fill yourself with so much love that everyone you encounter is blessed by your presence. Some of you may not agree, but I've already prayed and forgiven the poor souls that caused this horrible tragedy for the family of Derrion Albert. You see, I'm well aware that it's not my place to judge them and hating them only makes me like them. [Matthew 7:1-2;26:28]. It's up to God to handle that situation. I'm in no way saying that it's ok or that I'm not angry because I'm still human, but I don't live this life I have to hate people....I LIVE LIFE TO LOVE

Welcome to the WOMANIZER Aero's Rundown!! The Rundown starts now...

As most of you who know, BMax (@shug24) is my number 1 pal!! I loove that guy! Honestly, he just tickles me...lol. He's the kinda guy that has a great sense of humor and is a real prankster! He is accidentally funny too (to me anyway). He works with me @inContact and he's what I like to call a true friend. Well the purpose of this Rundown isn't to talk about Sir Maximus (that's BMax) - per se. I'm writing this blog because of one of his random, and quite hilarious, moments! This would have been in the last Rundown, but I decided to surprise Sir Maximus and do a special edition Rundown for it!! There are really no words to express how crazy he is...just watch the video! BMax is the very first guy you see in the video with the cap on backwards...enjoy! :-)

What more can I say? Gotta love BMax and his "randomosity"!

Aero's Rundown - Steph Jones Special Edition - 07.21.2009

Welcome to the 0721 Steph Jones Special Edition Rundown! The Rundown starts now...

This Rundown is dedicated to the musical genius that is Steph Jones (@stephjonesmusic) - the guy shown on the left...lol...for those of you who didn't get that. I know most of you only know him as the guy I tweet so much on Twitter, but he's a singer/songwriter/model and is very swiftly on his way to the top! He's what R&B should be!! His music is more geared toward a positive message. He is known to his frands (term coined by Steph that is friends and fans put together) simply as Steph Jones AKA Mr. Ordinary AKA The MO City Alien!! You will absolutely love the guy if you don't already!! His music is amazing and his message is even better! His music has REAL content and his voice is smooth and pleasant like the soulful, sweet sounds of Stevie Wonder! His name, Mr. Ordinary, is truly suited for him. He's a regular guy who is appreciative of the support from his frands and no matter what anyone thinks of him, he will ALWAYS be himself! It's kinda sad that there aren't more people out there like him or has the same mentality. I'm a non-conformist and I love the fact that someone who is in a more public spotlight is also. He's accepting of people's differences and has absolutely no fear of being himself. I always say just be yourself because no one else is suited to do it. I asked Steph if he would like to say anything to his frands in this Rundown. Here's his message to his current and future frands...as a matter of fact, I would say this is his message to the world:

What a great message... You all know that music is my passion! It's the greatest thing ever! No matter who you are, where you are, or what you're going through, there is some music in this world that touches you. No person in the world can say they don't care for any music. We don't all like the same things, but we do all like something. I love Steph's music and his message to the world! You should all go and check out some of his music on his myspace page (Melody To Snap To is my jam!!!).

Steph Jones is also the most unique and random person ever!! LOL!! The guy just has an all-around great vibe, and you can't help but be entertained. I think that's what makes his frands so comfortable with who he is...he's so genuine. I'm just as random, and I love it! Check out this conversation between him and me:

Look people...we really need to get behind Steph and support some positive music!! He will serve a great purpose in the music industry once we put him at the top where he belongs!! No. 12: The "Washing You Away" Special Edition Rundown was posted and I will be updating the video/song to include more vocals and the next one won't be so rough...lol

No. 11: I HAVE A STICKAM ACCOUNT!!! YAAAAAYYY!! Stickam is a live video streaming site and I joined so the people of the U-to-the-tah could see me when I go live!! Yeah! Everyone should check that ish out at http://www.stickam.com/aerisforrest. It's actually pretty fun! I'm gonna sit and chat, sing, and do the other random things I do (maybe even dance a little...haha)...

No. 10: @AMILLI_SHEDIDDY said "#justcause I have a job doesn't mean I have money" and I retweeted her. Then outta nowhere @moneycharmer decided she would do me a favor and retweet me I guess with the intention of letting me know that she could help us make some...(*buzzer*)...wrong answer! Talk about running right by us and punching the lady in the face...lol...get outta here lady!

No. 9: I don't know if you guys know this or not, but I'm a little silly. I have a been a prankster and I've been a little violent to say the least. I have some anger management issues sometimes, but I almost wet myself laughing at this... http://bit.ly/Q7Mk7

No. 8: A member of my church passed away and I didn't even know it until Sunday (the day of the funeral). I haven't been to a funeral in a while because the last one I went to (my aunt) was very hard for me since I was so close to her. So I got there and kept my eyes on the floor for the most part and I sat in the very back. My mom was in the choir stand and I made the mistake of trying to look at her when I saw the casket. It was a pearl white like my aunt's and a chill came over me. I knew I couldn't sit in there any longer so I got up and walked out. I was almost in tears by the time I got to the front entry and I basically ran to my truck in my heels just to shake the thoughts I was having. I felt so bad for leaving, but I just couldn't take it. All I could

think about was my aunt and I couldn't overcome the discomfort and overwhelming urge to weep. What would you have done? Was I wrong for walking out? *sigh*...

No. 7: On a lighter note... why the heck do people feel it’s necessary to tell me that my brother and/or dad are sexy or hot? I mean I'm not sexually attracted to them at all so what interest would I have in a conversation about how great they look. Really? (pause) Really? At some point, people should think before they tell me stuff like that. Then at church on Sunday, some lady was tellin my mom, and I'm like, "Look lady. I know you're older and I should be respectful but you need to back up. You can't have my daddy". And she was looking at my mom as if I was outta line...ugh...

No. 6: I found a stupid prank video. The concept is to see how people will react when they see a crowd of people running in the opposite direction that they're going in. I admit it sounds pretty stupid and cheesy, but actually seeing the video makes it much funnier. The first guy just keeps going and doesn't care. The second guy...well....just watch....LMBO!!! No. 5: Phrase: "ran right by us and punched the lady in the face"; so here's the deal. A lot of people still don't get why I've been using that phrase. Yes I know it is a bit random and probably even annoying to some of you, but I love it anyway. To make a long story short (unless you wanna hear the long story), the phrase comes from a situation that happened not too long ago with someone I know. She has this aunt that is pretty much G-status, if you will. There was a little situation with her step-dad (well pretty much her real dad) and his "other woman" that my friend was trying to figure out. She was arguing with the man and ended up throwing a vase. Her aunt hear the vase break, and runs into the house. But wait...what is she doing?...where is she going? Oh my...she ran right by them, went into the back room of the house, and punch the "other woman" in the face. So that's where the phrase came from. When she was telling me about the situation, she used the phrase: "ran right by us and punched the lady in the face" and needless to say, I almost laughed myself into a coma because I couldn't breathe...LOL!! It's a rather funny story except for the fact that the situation sucks...

No. 4: T.I. has a new song out called "Remember Me" and let me tell you he is at the top of his game! I love the song and I love the message. He starts by saying, "Let me tell you how you measure a man. When his world starts to fall, see how tall he stands. It matters not how many times you fall down. What matters most is how many times you rise. Mistakes build character, and character takes you places money can't". Then Mary J. Blige comes in with her fantastic vocals saying, "Don't forget to remember me..." I love the song and video.

No. 3: I don't know if you guys remember, but I went to the movies to see UP a couple of times and I flippin loved it!! Well I was in Starkville on Saturday visiting my cuzzo and the Queen of B's (@DeltaHeir21), and we had to go to Wal-Mart. Well who the heck did I see as we walked in?! Answer: The little old man from UP!!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! He was just like him! His little pants were too short and he had the same posture and hair and everything! I tried to get Queen B to take my picture with him but since she's a doodie-tootie head, she wouldn't do it! I guess once you're a diva, you can't have the same kinda fun that normal people have...*sigh. Anyway, I was gonna go take his picture and whaddya know? He was leaving to go on break and I would never see him again, so I basically chased him through Wally World to get his pic. LMBO!!! So here ya go...

No. 2: It was my intention to talk about how sick I am about being thrown under the bus with stuff @ the workplace, but I've already digressed. Good thing I didn't write this Rundown when I started to do it...lol. Anyway, the number 2 spot goes to Beyonce's chilling performance. I love the emotion shown as Beyonce pays tribute to the King of Pop http://tinyurl.com/kwlt9z

And No. 1: I mean really, Jordin?! REALLY?! The album is out NOW!!! Go get one or two...or heck maybe even seven! It has some great content and Jordin's vocals are so much stronger which is why I loved her in the first place!! Tell me this isn't power and I'll run right by us and punch the lady in the face!!

0721 Aero's Rundown Honarable Mentions~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

OMG, my sweet potato pie was flippin amazing on Sunday!! I ended up eating all but one small slither by the end of the evening! I love those things...mmm...mm....good....

The Rundown has the MTV Leak gadget included at the bottom, which is actually pretty cool since you can listen to full albums prior to release dates! I love it!!

The US Open starts at the end of next month! It'll be featured in a Rundown as the time approaches. FYI - I'm actually going to attend!! Yay for me!!

I left out the fact that Shunda and I made a Kool-Aid run while we were waiting for everyone to show up for Byrd's baby shower in the last Rundown! LOL!! Of course that was after the fact that she tried to drink my wallet!! (Thanks for the wallet, BMax - @shug24)

Had dinner with a friend, Kacey, last week and she just happened to bring along someone that I wasn't expecting but it was all fun and I look forward to doing it again. Kacey wants to have some sort of weekly thing...

Aero's Rundown - Washing You Away Special Edition - 07.15.2009

Welcome to the “Washing You Away” Aero’s Rundown! The Rundown starts now…

I was sitting here working and pondering some random thoughts and decided that I would finish this song that I’ve been writing. Instead, I pretty much started a whole new one. I’ve named it "Washing You Away" and it is still in the works. My bff, Shunda (@AMILLI_SHEDIDDY) is already promoting it on Twitter…LOL!! I posted a line from the song and Twitter and ultimately started a war between the King BMax (@shug24) and the Queen of B’s (@DeltaHeir21)!! I have been contributing to their little fuss just to keep it going because it’s so hilarious. Aparently, they both have dibs on being my number one fan! The sad thing is that I don’t even have an album…LOL!! Nonetheless, they’re threatening each other on Twitter and I’m just sitting back laughing about it! While they’ve been fighting, I’ve actually recorded a rough (very rough) preview of the song and created a little sample video. So without further adieu…

Aero's Rundown - 07.06.2009

Welcome to the 0706 Aero’s Rundown! The Rundown starts now…

No. 10: I have a doctor’s appt on Thursday and normally I wouldn’t be excited but I am because my shoulder has been hurting so bad that if she wants to chop it off, I’ll sign the papers and get it done!

No. 9: I finally found the REAL love of my life!! I won’t give you too much info, but I have two words for you: Ebony and Ivory…nuff said! Cougars knows what I mean...

No. 8: Here’s what's jacked: Jordin Sparks was really angry today because her album was leaked. They have to give out promotional copies, but 10 times out of 10, the album will end up in the wrong hands and then comes download fever! Well she posted on Twitter today how angry she was, but she got over it pretty quickly…lol. I’m one for downloading music myself but I also buy real albums because I know people work really hard at their craft and I don’t want to take advantage of that…J

No. 7: What did I do for the 4^th of July? Well of course I hadn’t gotten anything for the baby shower so I got up early and went for that stuff. Then I rushed back home and got dressed for the shower. I got a call from my other bff (Nashunda) and no one was even there yet so I slowed my pace. We had tons of fun at the baby shower! I’m not really one for that kinda stuff but it was a perfect day to spend with my two besties Byrd and Shunda!! It was about 80 million degrees, but I had fun nonetheless – sorry I didn’t take any pix. Then I went to my family gatherings and saw tons of cousins, aunt, and uncles! It was fantastic. They all say I have a northern accent now…lol. But the day’s not done…I played tennis with The Queen (B that is) and jacked my shoulder more than it already was. I was teaching her and we played for about an hour until I just couldn’t take the pain anymore…

No. 6: Well crisis has struck again! Steve McNair, former quarterback for the Titans was murdered in TN on July 4. He was from Mount Olive, MS and was in the league for 13 seasons. Right now, it’s being ruled as a homicide by the girl that was found dead with him (his girlfriend) and the quarterback leaves behind his wife and four children. This is crazy! In the past couple of weeks, four very major influences and figures in the world have passed away. It’s so sad. No. 5: The Williams sisters won the women’s doubles final at Wimbledon!! This was their 9^th title there, and even though they’re ranked number three in the world in doubles, they swept the tourney and took yet another title! And on top of that…

No. 4: Wimbledon women’s final: Serena Williams vs. Venus Williams (for the fourth time); They both had their reasons to fight to the death for the title. Serena was fighting her third Wimbledon title and her first in 6 years. Venus was fighting for her 3^rd consecutive and to tie the 6-title record set by her idol Billie Jean King. They opened the match with some serious battling while the crowd was confused about for whom to cheer. Serena took the first set in the tiebreak and then won the second set as Venus struggled. The two had a 10-10 recording against each other and Serena broke the tie by winning her third Wimbledon title!

No. 3: Battlefield album by Jordin Sparks will be released July 21!! I’m so excited for it! I can’t wait to get it! I know you’ve been wondering why in the world I’ve been promoting it so much, but I became a member of the BattlefieldStreetTeam for promoting her album! It’s actually more fun than I thought it would be. I will be posting another blog strictly for promotional purposes for her album! Please go out and buy it! Show her some support!!

No. 2: Three words: BABY HITS MAN! Oh my gosh, this was the funniest thing that could ever happen in church! I’m sitting in church on Sunday just minding my business and singing along with the choir. There’s this little old man sitting over on the side that was asleep most of the service. I looked up and my mom was really tickled while she was singing in the choir. I noticed that she was laughing at my cousin’s baby who was playing with her teething ring. Then it happened! The baby was laughing really hard and waving the teething ring around and it flew out of her hand! There it is…flying across the church and I’m thinking, “No…it can’t…please don’t let it…omg it’s really going to…” Then *whop* it hits the little old man right in the face!! He woke up and wiped his hand across his face really fast and immediately went back to sleep. I laughed until my whole body hurt. I had to get up and leave because I was so tickled! Poor little man! I just couldn’t believe it actually hit him and my mom was bent over laughing…I don’t know if you can imagine but almost the whole church saw it and there was a mumble because everyone was laughing so hard…

And No. 1: My main man the Federer Express made it to the Wimbledon final! PLUS: my other brutha from anotha mutha, Andy Roddick, also made it there for his third Wimbledon final against the Fed man! The match was going on while I was at church watching that baby hit that man in the face, but my good buddy over at @MobileUnlocked kept me updated during the match. It was an epic battle for the Grand Slam trophy!! Federer finally won in the fifth set (16-14) and made history with his 15^th Grand Slam title!!! AND HERE’S A BONUS:: He’s number 1 in the world again!! Yay for the Maestro!! I love the guy, but my boi Roddick put up a heck of a fight and I was very proud of him as an American! I was pulling a little more for him since he’s American but I love the Fed man so I’m happy either way….

Just a little FYI for the 0630 Rundown

There are some personal events that I left out intentionally because some people who read my blog are close enough to me to know of these issues. However, I would like to thank those of you who are aware of the different situations in my life for your support and love through the tough times that I experience. Your kind thoughts and words are not unnoticed or unappreciated. I love you so much and I appreciate the love and concern you show for me during my tough times. Thanks so much!! :)

Aero's Rundown - 06.30.2009 (top 3)

Welcome back to the 0630 Aero's Rundown for the top 3! The Rundown starts now...

No. 3: Before I got the hell outta Dodge (UT), my best pals there had a little goin-away gathering for me (06.18)!!! Let me tell you who was there: Cougar (@ejrkids), BMax (@shug24), Austiedocious (@aubrown2001), Spock (@ryanscampbell), Lisa, BDub, and the mini-Spock!!! It was great! I felt so loved! The Cougar was the PM and BMax was the delegated for movie times…lol! They cracked me up and kept it simple and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! We went to eat at Bajio (pronounced BAA gee oh) and then to see The Hangover; the original plan was to see Phlegm 123 (known to others as The Taking of Pelham 123), but BDub said that The Hangover was hilarious! I made the mistake of sitting between Cougar and BDub; not quite sure if that was the best thing…lol!! The dinner was great, the movie was hilarious, and I couldn’t have asked to be around a better group of people!! I love you guys.

No. 2: This one relates to number but I have to put it before number 1 because it’s not as major as number 1 (thus its place at number two). There is a tribute song to the legendary Michael Jackson. P. Diddy (@iamdiddy) produced the track and posted the following on Twitter: “Check out this tribute 2 MJ feat Myself, Game, Chris Brown, Polo, Mario Winans, and Boyz II Men http://tinyurl.com/kow5e7 RT Please”. I love it! I love how artists show so much respect…

And No. 1: Michael Jackson passed away on Thursday, 06.25.2009; I know a lot of people are so focused on judging for the accusations and negative aspects of his life, and honestly I’m sick of people and their judgments. The guy never had a childhood and in my opinion, all those punk asses talkin about his alleged molestation charges were only after the money anyway. If they weren’t the first guy’s family wouldn’t have settled for money and would have made sure he was convicted and all those other shitholes wouldn’t have followed suit. What parent sends their children to a person who has been suspected of child molestation unless they are trying to get something out of it? Fine if your child wants to meet MJ…who doesn’t? But after such allegations, don’t you think you should at least be around instead of leaving them there?…that’s my problem with the whole situation. No real parent would put their children in harm’s way. I’m not saying whether he did or didn’t do it, but logically it just doesn’t make enough sense to me if it was really believed that he was guilty. Ok…whew…had to get that off my chest. Now on to what matters most to me…Michael Jackson: The Extraordinary Entertainer. All of your favorite artists respect him because he accomplished something that no one else in musical history has. He sold 28 million copies of a single album. Most artists don’t do that over their entire careers – including other greats like Elvis. He sold more than 750 million total albums. I’m sick of the people that are more concerned with his facial features than his talent! I’m sure Etta James or The Beatles didn’t look like someone else wanted them to, but that doesn’t take away from their talent!! Everyone in the world should respect him as an artist and if you don’t, rest assured that your favorite artist does. Respect the fact that he was a father, brother, friend, philanthropist, and a musical icon. If you didn’t like him, don’t shit on those of us who did. This hurts me even more than when Estelle Getty and Bea Arthur passed away. True enough I never met them, but it was always a dream of mine because of the people that they all were. When someone that means so much to me and the rest of the world passes away, it crushes my spirit. It kills dreams. There’s a sense of reality that I would have never met them, but now I can’t even dream. It hurts and I know for a fact that I’m not the only person in this world that feels that way about Michael Jackson and countless others. I’ve been in denial for a few days but writing this blog has really brought me to realization and I can’t stop the tears from flowing…but I digress. There was finally an announcement of MJ’s viewing for his true fans. I wish I could go. There will be a public viewing for Michael Jackson at his Neverland ranch http://tinyurl.com/m53qbb. Just as a note, there is a little fact of interest for some pertaining to other greats who passed on the 25^th: “25 Strikes again! Aaliyah died on 8/25, Michael Jackson 6/25, Static Major 2/25, Left eye (Lisa Lopez) 4/25, and James Brown 12/25, and the beautiful Farrah Fawcett 6/25”

Joe Jackson is a disgrace to the human race; that loser called a press conference and had the world thinking he was going to announce funeral plans or a public memorial for his son and he announces that he’s starting a record label!! I was flippin outraged! Your son just died, the world lost an icon, and your focus is a freakin record label…that even pissed off my g’mother

Lakers won NBA Finals!!! (old news but I haven’t written a Rundown since they won)

Obama is the G-stat of the day for that "fly swattin" move on 06.08; that guy is just “a stud” as my best buddy would say…lol

I made it official and ended the pursuit of my MBA today...(*sigh*)

Aero's Rundown - 06.30.2009

Welcome to the 0630 Aero’s Rundown! This one is pretty large but I narrowed it down to 15 and the top 3 are in a separate blog. The Rundown starts now…

No. 15: Got the heck outta Dodge (UT) for a little while at least. I didn’t realize until I left how much I needed a break from that place. There are a select few people that I have a hard tolerating (and you guys know who they are). My brother came out to drive back with me and it was a great trip for us. Unfortunately, I spent 52 billion dollars on gas, but I was glad to get home nonetheless.

No. 14: Suns have agreed to trade Shaq (@THE_REAL_SHAQ) to the Cavs, but “The deal has been agreed to in principle and is expected to be finalized Thursday, according to sources” – ESPN. I don’t really know if you guys know this, but this pretty much means that Lebron has some help down in the low post because Verajao just pisses me off…ugh

No. 13: Had a cue – BBQ that is – yesterday (06.29) and it was PHENOMENAL!!! I love grilled hot dogs so I was pretty much in heaven! My uncle bought the food to cook and he got only the best stuff – chicken, ribs, pork chops, hot dogs, and burgers – and for the sides we had baked beans, potato salad, mac ‘n cheese and some chips just for the hot dogs and burgers. It’s been so long since I had that kind of meal and I’m telling you it was wonderful! My grandmother came over and that topped off my night! By the time 9:30 or 10pm came around, I was exhausted, but it was a great day.

No. 12: Britney Spears Twitter got hacked and the perpetrator posted that she died on 06.28. I didn’t believe it when I read it in the first place, but I really think it’s just flippin ridiculous that people do that sort of thing – especially when the world is already crazy after the death of another musician.

No. 11: Serena Williams (@serenajwilliams) was fired up about not being able to eat in the locker room anymore at Wimbledon! I guess once you get used to doing something then you are expected to change, it can be a little frustrating. The biggest problem was that they brought in snacks for them but they couldn’t eat them. How rude is that?! Here’s her Twitter post: “Hey! We are NOT allowed to eat in the locker room but, they are placing bananas KIT KATS out. Now, how do you consume those food items?” 12:12 PM Jun 23rd from web.

No. 10: Steph Jones (@stephjonesmusic) tweeted me today and it was most awesome because it was another situation where the first time I tweeted someone, that person tweeted me back. He was talking about southern people and their not-so-debonair lifestyle…lol! It was pretty cool to learn he’s from TX. He’s a great artist by the way! Check him out!

No. 9: Had a piano session in UT the day before I left and it was phenomenal!!! I was hangin out with the amazing Cougar (@ejrkids) and we went to her brother’s house. I stepped into the house and almost had a heart attack. There it was – a beautiful Yamaha baby grand and I almost couldn’t breathe. The Coug didn’t believe that I could play, but I once I got permission I was in a world of my own. I could’ve stayed there for the rest of my life and been perfectly content. Thanks again, Coug, for that! Send me that video J

No. 8: I’m focused on two very important events coming up: going to the US Open and trying my hardest to get Jordin Sparks (@TheRealJordin) for my bday. The US Open (the tennis one not the golf one) starts August 31 and continues through September 13. I plan to go the last week just to the championship matches!! That would really make me happy because I need an escape. Now about getting Jordin Sparks…I have contact an agent twice about scheduling her and haven’t heard anything back so I’m getting pretty pissed about it. If I can’t get her for my bday then I’m gonna go far away and never come back!!!

No. 7: Parents 29-year anniversary and Byrd’s baby shower is Saturday (07.04). These are two very important events to me. My parents probably won’t be able to do much, but they always enjoy themselves nonetheless. They’ve been married for 29 years and I’m so excited that even through the tough times, they’re still going strong. I could love anybody more than those two people. PLUS: my bestie Byrdie is having her baby shower on Saturday as well and I’m pretty excited about that! We’ve been best friends for years and she’s one of the few people that knows just about everything about me! I don’t have any walls up when it comes to her so I’m glad to be around for this major step in her life…I have yet another niece on the way!...hehe…

No. 6: BET Awards on 06.28 and they did a great job changing up the entire show to honor Michael Jackson; Janet cam and thanked everyone; she couldn’t smile; she fought tears she said “to you Michael is an icon, to us Michael is family and he will forever live in all of our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself thank you for all your love and thank you for all your support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much”. Then Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo sang I’ll be there to close the show. It was VERY emotional. So many people were crying at the show and I’m sure at home as well. The show was pretty amazing in its entirety with performance by Beyonce, Jay-Z, Jamie Foxx, T-Pain (@DaRealerstTPain), Monica, and countless others!

No. 5: Wimbledon action synopsis: Federer and Roddick are into the quarterfinals. Of the men remaining, they’re my two favorites! I really hope they make it to the final because Roddick’s game is much than the two previous Federer beat him in the Wimbledon final. Venus and Serena Williams are now into the Semifinals @Wimbledon. They’re playing against Safina and Dementieva respectively. Although Safina is number 1 in the world, she’s not great at the game. She only became number one because she plays so many tournaments (which is the problem with the points system for ranking). However, Dementieva is pretty good so I hope Serena continues to play the way she has been during the tournament. It’s USA vs. Russia on the women’s side. I’m looking forward to a Federer/Roddick men’s final and a Williams women’s final.

No. 4: If you read my last blog, you should know that T-Pain tweeted me the very first I sent him a tweet and it was the number of that blog!! But check this out!!! Two days after T-Pain tweeted me, Jordin Sparks (@TheRealJordin) tweeted me! I know for a fact I stopped breathing but I don’t know how else my body was responding because I was just zoned! That made me so happy!! She was talking about the NBA Finals and mentioned how the Lakers would never be her team; so I simply replied not thinking anything of it since she hadn’t tweeted me before. Not even 30 seconds later, she replied to my tweet and I was pretty sure that if I died that very moment, my life would have been complete (just kidding but it was pretty exciting for me). By the way, you gotta pre-order Jordin’s new album – Battlefield – on iTunes or Amazon and gotta get to a concert. I’m looking forward to it.

No. 12: Chrysler is officially dead as we know it.  They’re now Chrysler Group LLP and are owned mostly (55%) by United Auto Worker (UAW)…too bad I didn’t get a new car before yesterday.  Dealerships have been dropping their new Chrysler prices like mad trying to get rid of them all…

No. 11: An 88-year-old gunman shot and killed a security guard today (June 10) at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.  I’m not quite sure of his motive, but he was labeled in the media as a “white supremacist”. Read the rest here - http://tinyurl.com/kkob4j

No. 10: I’m getting my corporate card from work!! Yay!!  I don’t really know why I’m so excited about it, but it just feels like a new level in my career and if you read my last blog, you know I feel a little stagnant… :)

No. 9: I went to the movies again to see Up and of course my best buddy BMax (@shug24) thought it was hilarious!  Besides the actual movie, the best part was that we left work early! “I was hiding under your porch because I love you…-Doug”…LOL!!!

No. 8: Lakers vs Magic in the NBA Finals – Lakers won game 2 in overtime 101-96.  Magic won game 3 108-104.  The series is now 2-1 Lakers and game 4 is tomorrow (June 11) at 8:30 EST.  Can’t wait!!!

No. 7: Bret Michaels was SLAMMED by a prop at the Tony Awards - http://tinyurl.com/nbqw8u …I’m typically not one to laugh when it’s something so serious, but I have to admit that the way he fell was pretty funny!

No. 6: Austiedocious (@aubrown2001) wore a bra and I wore a jock strap yesterday (June 9)…let’s just put it this way…we have very random conversations during lunch with the Cougar (@ejrkids)

No. 5: TSC was running to eat during our “team lunch/meeting”.  BMax and I thought it was terribly entertaining that they were all talkin about this lunch and then no one wanted to drive and was “outta gas”… I tell ya…some people

No. 4: Jordin Sparks (@TheRealJordin) has a new fanclub! I was so excited when she tweeted about it today!  I was looking at her tour dates and I’m pretty sure that I’m gonna get to one of her concerts…yay!! http://www.sparkstown.com/

No. 3: Cristi was walkin today and saw a blue Jeep Liberty like mine.  She of course thought it was me so she got all excited and thought she had a ride…but hold up!...one second…she’s in GA and I’m in UT.  She said, “I was like hold on…I’m not in Utah…” LOL!!!  It was hilarious!!

No. 2: The countdown has already begun for when I’m leaving UT.  I have it on my board at work and now I think everybody that matters knows at this point… :-( …yeah right :-).  I’m ready to be with my family…

And No. 1: I was tweeted by T-Pain the very first time I tweeted him!  I started following him yesterday and he ended up tweeting me last night.  So he posted a thought of the night: “Thought of the night: if 2pacs kids get together and make a rap group they should call the group "SMALL PACS".  Well apparently people were getting upset because his next tweet was “Ok people it was a damn joke”.  So then I replied to him not thinking anything of it “@DaRealerstTPain Too many sensative ppl out there...ppl jus waitin to find somethin to hate about...”.  It was like 30 seconds later when he replied to me and said “@aeroDynamic10 xactly they the people that ruin the movies in the theater sayin shit like ‘DONT LOOK UNDER THE BED STUPID’”.  I’m pretty sure I laughed harder than I ever have…(oh by the way I was also excited that he tweeted me…lol)
